[Photo: scoopnest.com]NASA's 'reckless utterances' accusing the military and other security agencies of being part of Jubilee 'rigging plans' are not only uncalled for but dangerous.Political analyst Gabriel Muthuma has said that Nasa should be made to substantiate its 'frivolous accusations' or be held accountable for it.Muthuma speaking to K24 TV's Alfajiri show on Monday, also stated that NASA's utterances were putting members of various security agencies at grievous risk ahead of August 8 elections."When we start plastering the names of our security agents on newspapers, blogs and everywhere else and people know who they are, that in itself puts them in a very precarious situation," Muthuma said. He added: "We all know how our politics get heated. It is high time Nasa substantiated their wild claims or be made to account for it because the damage has already been done."The analyst cited a case in 2007 where a bus carrying military officers in Homabay was torched and two officers killed for mere suspicion that they were out to engage in an electoral malpractice. He said that Nasa leaders need to gauge their words before going to the public with 'wild and unfounded' accusations."They have been demanding that the security agencies stop sending panic ahead of polls. I would not want our security agencies to suffer from the reckless utterances of our politicians," said Muthuma.
