[Photo: Courtesy]The National Super Alliance (Nasa) today (Sunday) camps in Busia, as it continues with its vote hunt mission, in the populous Western region.Led by presidential candidate Raila Odinga, Nasa was in Vihiga County Saturday, a day after campaigning in Bungoma, Trans Nzoia, Nakuru, and Kajiado counties.A programme schedule released by the alliance showed areas the team, which is split into two, would tour, make roadside stopovers and finally hold a public rally at Busia town.Team A is scheduled to tour Maumau, Lunyafu, Ganga, Funyula, Bumala, Butula, Matayos and finally Busia town.Team B tours Changara, Moding, Angurai, Malaba, Simba Chai, Nambale and finally meet with Team A at Busia town for a public address. The programme excludes Budalangi constituency, an area perceived to be a stronghold of area MP Ababu Namwamba, who defected ODM (Nasa member party), for Jubilee.Earlier Ababu had welcomed the coalition in the county, saying Jubilee had already taken over.Nasa also seeks to unite its supporters in the county, after Funyula ODM MP Paul Otuoma left the party to vie for governorship seat as an Independent Candidate, citing stolen victory in April party primaries.Differences between him and governor Sospeter Ojaamong who secured the ODM ticket from the MP, to defend his seat, have seen the county split, politically.
