Siaya Senator has revealed what NASA might do if the elections go on without meeting demands raised by the Opposition.

According to Orengo, NASA stronghold might not participate in the repeat polls scheduled for October 17.

The Opposition has maintained that some officials at the IEBC should step down.

Top on the list is CEO Ezra Chiloba, who is accused of mismanaging the August 8 presidential polls whose results were nullified by the Supreme Court.

Jubilee party has insisted that elections should go on as planned.

According to the Star, the opposition might use governors to derail the process.

“Do you think that if [Hassan] Joho in Mombasa refuses to conduct the election it will happen? How about [Josphat] Nanok, [Amason] Kingi and [Cornel] Rasanga here in Siaya?” Orengo said.

Orengo said the opposition could easily execute its mission as it enjoys unwavering support across the country compared to Jubilee.

“Jubilee is just a small entity within the whole part of Kenya,” he added.
