Speaking at NASA headquarters at Capitol Hill in Nairobi on Tuesday, NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi said that this will help 'restore the shaken confidence in the electronic system which is key to the success and credibility of the elections on August 8.

"I think that it is fair to say that unless dramatic steps are taken, Kenyans will not be sure that this will be a free, fair and credible election without having at the helm Chris Musando who was totally committed to ensuring that the Kenya Integrated Electoral Management System (Kiems) was protected from interference and would work on election day," said Mudavadi.

Mudavadi was flanked by Senators James Orengo and Johnstone Muthama.

He also castigated President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto saying that 24hrs since Musando's death was reported, they were yet to condemn the brutal killing leading to serious questions being raised.
