Speaking at the Jomo Kenyatta show ground in Mkomani, during the issuance of cheques to women and youth self-help groups, Mboko said NASA is a strong political movement that will unseat President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto.

"NASA is not going to disintegrate and it is the best alliance ever formed to beat Jubilee at its own game," said Mboko, as quoted by the Standard.

The outspoken leader also hit out at the government over alleged harassment of Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho, saying the move will only make the governor more powerful at the Coast and other parts of the nation.

"They think they are weakening the opposition at the Coast by harassing Governor Joho but they are only strengthening and popularising him," she said.

Meanwhile, Mboko has asked women from the region to deny men their conjugal rights until they register as voters.

"Women, this is the strategy you should adopt. It is the best. Deny them sex until they show you their voter's card," she said.
