Bonny Khalwale has warned that should the National Super Alliance win elections in August, President Uhuru Kenyatta will be its first victim in jail.
The Kakamega senator, who also doubles as Ford Kenya Deputy Party leader adds that Kenyatta could sink the country’s economy should he get reelected.
In yet another swipe to Jubilee administration, Khalwale accused Kenyatta of presiding over a corrupt and tribal government.
“Uhuru has committed several economic crimes and in August, he should be ready for a jail term,” he said on Sunday at Kisii when receiving Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka, who ditched ODM for Ford Kenya.
The Kakamega governorship hopeful added: “They think NASA will collapse and that is a dream. We must be told about NYS scam, Euro Bond and many other economic atrocities.”
His sentiments were echoed by Kiminini MP Chris Wamalwa, who also questioned the government’s ‘white elephant’ projects in Gusii region.
In parliament, Khalwale is remembered for sponsoring a successful ouster motion of Amos Kimunya, a former Finance Minister.
