Peter Ngure, a Kiambu based political analyst warns that NASA will sink if Kalonzo Musyoka who is alo the NASA presidential running mate  does not put his party in order.

In an interview on Wednesday, Ngure said “NASA is going to lose Ukambani votes if the disgruntlement and infighting among the region politicians allied to the alliance persists.”

Ngure stated that Machakos senator Johnson Muthama’s decision to quit Kalonzo’s party will have a huge impact on the alliance ability to woo for votes in the Ukambani region.

“Muthama is a strong point man for NASA in Ukambani and his decision to abandon Kalonzo’s party will work against the alliance in terms of votes in August,” said Ngure.

The political analyst said that NASA has to move with speed and tame rebellion among Ukambani politicians.

The analyst added that Jubilee will be a major beneficiary if NASA loses grip of the Kamba votes.

On Monday , Muthama ditched Kalonzo citing favoritism and discrimination in the party.

Muthama said that he will not be contesting for the senate seat if Governor Alfred Mutua and Wavinya Ndeti will be on the ballot for the governor seat. He  said that he cannot work with either Mutua or Wavinya.

The Machakos senator however vowed to support and campaign for NASA presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga.

Kalonzo has suffered major political set backs in the recent past.

Two weeks ago, Kitui senator David Musila who is also Wiper chairman ditched the party accusing Kalonzo of allegedly interfering in the Kitui gubernatorial nomination.

Musila who lost in the nomination exercise said that he will be contesting as an independent candidate and vowed to send Governor Julius Malombe packing.
