The National Super Alliance (NASA) leaders have been warned against using abusive language during their weekend rally to be staged in Eldoret town.

Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago has welcomed the opposition leaders to the county, but warned them that the locals will not put up with insulting remarks.

Mandago asked the NASA leaders to clearly outline their agenda for Kenya during the rally.

“Now that they are coming to this county they should tell us what plans they have for the farmers and plans in terms of infrastructure development. Residents want tangible solutions,” he said, as reported by the Nation.

The county, deputy president William Ruto’s backyard, is a Jubilee stronghold.

Governor Mandago said the county was fully in Jubilee, and the NASA rally won’t change the decision of the residents.

“They are free to come and look for votes but they will not get any vote in this county. The voter registration ended and we know this game is over, the numbers are out there and records speak for themselves,” said the county boss.
