Leaders allied to the NASA coalition have dared the government to arrest their presidential flag-bearer Raila Odinga.
Odinga laughed off what he termed as threats to arrest him by Joseph Nkaissery, urging him to concentrate on more important duties.
Speaking in Kitengela on Tuesday during their last day of the area campaign tour leaders who spoke took issue with the government’s interest in what they termed as false allegations.
“Hawa wajamaa wanasema mimi nishikwe, hawajui wanafanya nini. Hawawezi Tisha mimi, (These people saying I should be arrested, they do not know what they are doing. They can threaten me), he said.
“Jubilee have been saying the same thing, whom are they trying to deceive,” asked Musyoka.
Odinga has been accused of inciting the Maasai community not to sell land to non-locals said he was speaking to those who hold small pieces of land who are forced to sell in order to survive.
They further promised to ensure they take off the burden of education from parents, saying they will even provide uniforms for school going children.
“They say they will provide free education from January because they know they will not be in power at that time. They have failed to provide for nurses, teachers, doctors, how will they be able to cater for Kenyans,” asked Moses Wetangula.
