The opposition’s dream to liberate the nation from poor governance is unstoppable, Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has said.
According to Kalonzo, also NASA Presidential running mate, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto’s are using all tricks to ensure that the opposition is divided, which is a farfetched dream. The opposition leader said that plans to change electoral laws and divide the opposition will not keep Uhuru in state house.
"I want to tell Jubilee that they will not succeed in scuttling NASA and stop our dream of liberating the country," Kalonzo said as quoted by the Standard.
This is after Tiaty MP said that Kalonzo and Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi will abandon Raila.
"Raila is one tired and notorious retiree who does not want to go home quietly. But I am happy madam speaker to say that indeed in the next three days this animal called NASA will crumble. NASA Co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka is on his way to Jubilee,” Kassait alluded.
The remarks of the former vice president come at a time when the opposition is pushing for the resignation of several officials of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
The leaders want, CEO Ezra Chiloba and other commissioners to leave the electoral agency before polls can be conducted following the nullification of Uhuru’s win.
