A team of five NASA insiders are reportedly drafting a petition to be submitted to UN to challenge President Uhuru Kenyatta’s illegitimacy, reports the star.
With limited constitutional chances available, Raila Odinga is said to be keen to challenge Uhuru’s victory in the New York-based agency.
“We will be telling the UN that no election was held in Kenya in October. It was just a charade,” said Peter Kaluma.
Kisumu Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o’s international expertise will be relevant in the petition with sources saying that he is leading the team.
Others include Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka, Junnet Mohammed (Suna East), David Ndii and Abubakar Zein.
“We are remaining with a host of options and when the time comes, we shall throw the bombshell,” Onyonka said in reference to the petition.
Already, a defiant Odinga insists that he will be sworn in on December 12th, a move that could further escalate Kenya’s political crisis.
