This is after Narok Governor Samuel Tanui dismissed the outfit, stating that its leaders had no development agenda despite being in government for decades.

According to Tanui, NASA’s bid to win the Maasai vote was a complete waste of time since Jubilee had a strong footing in the region.

“Raila was a prime minister for five years, Kalonzo served as deputy president for a similar period. Between this two individuals nothing was done to benefit the Maasai community,” said Tanui.

Tanui who was speaking over the weekend after attending a football match further praised the Jubilee administration for initiating development projects in the region.

Over the recent weeks, Cord leader Raila Odinga has been criss crossing the region in hunt for votes.

On Sunday, Raila received Narok East MP Kato Ole Kenta who defected from Jubilee to ODM.
