According to the MP who ditched his Chama Cha Uzalendo Party (CCU) in favor of Jubilee Last year, Ukambani is prepared to endorse President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election bid.

Speaking in Machakos on Tuesday, Munyaka dismissed NASA saying the Raila Odinga led outfit has nothing to give to Kenyans.

He said that Kambas are tired of supporting the ever losing opposition and that they will this time vote in favour of the ruling government.

The Machakos Town MP went on to claim that NASA’s influence in Ukambani region has been diluted and that the region is no longer the opposition’s stronghold.

“NASA has zero chance of garnering any vote in Ukambani because the region will vote in favour of the ruling Jubilee government,” he said as quoted by the Standard.

The MP said that NASA leaders cannot offer alternative leadership and they are only interested in getting political power.

At the same time, the MP hit out at the opposition for castigating Jubilee development agenda during their Monday rally in Machakos.

Munyaka said that it is shameful for Raila and his troops to criticize Jubilee development track record when they themselves dialed to deliver when they served in government.

On Monday, NASA top leaders held a series of rallies in Machakos where they castigated Jubilee government over unfulfilled development pledges.

The opposition leaders also hit out at Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua accusing him of betraying the Kamba community by working with Jubilee.
