The opposition National Super Alliance is this week set to make another announcement that will escalate the political tension from last last
According to leader Raila Odinga NASA will unveil new protests against the government this week.
Odinga made the revelations in his new year message to Kenyans where he stated that the coalition will not
stop its reform agenda and fight for electoral justice maintaining that NASA will notrecognize President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election.
"Within the first week of the New Year, we will unveil a program for civildisobedience, peaceful protests, non-cooperation with and resistance to an illegitimate regime in addition to People’s Assemblies," Odinga stated.
He explained that the problems Kenya faced were as a result of the Presidency which needed to be restructured to conformto the changing dynamics."We cannot stand by and watch as the monster rises again. Soon, it will be too late. In 2018, our work is clearly cut out for us.After three stolen elections in a row and the standoff that has ensued, ending the culture of sham elections with predeterminedoutcomes must be the nation’s priority.
"We must nip the new trend where people continue to vote, the Opposition is allowed to exist and win a few seats in parliament, but the vote does not really count," the NASA Leader submitted

NASA formed the National Resistance Movement that will be tasked with causing civil disobedience to push for reforms.
