Devolution Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri has accused the Opposition coalition NASA of frustrating the electoral process.
Speaking on Wednesday, Kiunjuri argued that NASA has failed to articulate their agenda for the country and has instead resorted to dragging electoral agency IEBC to unnecessary legal battles.
“Running to the courts has now become synonymous with NASA and may soon be viewed by Kenyans as part of their manifesto. Their second manifesto is court cases,” he argued.
He challenged the Opposition to give IEBC "breathing space," observing that the commission needs ample time to adequately prepared for the August elections.
“We are tired of these court cases by NASA against the IEBC. The coalition should give the IEBC breathing space to prepare the August 8 election,” he stated.
Kiunjuri has been a fierce critic of the Opposition for some time now.
