[Photo|ODM]Leaders of the NASA coalition on Saturday held a people's mini-assembly committee at Maanzoni Lodge in Machakos, to deliberate on their next step.Principals Raila Odinga and Musalia Mudavadi led the meeting which was also attended by Nasa parliamentarians, the secretariat and technical committee led by chairman economist David Ndii.During the meeting, NASA asked its MPs not to take part in vetting of Cabinet Secretary appointees that will be appointed by President Uhuru Kenyatta.The move is one of NASA's shield to intensify its protest against President Kenyatta October 26 fresh controversial election win.The request comes after ODM chairman and National Assembly Minority Leader John Mbadi said NASA will not be part of vetting of Uhuru's cabinet members.National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale however dismissed any NASA boycott plans, saying Uhuru's Jubilee Party had enough MPs in both National and Senate Assemblies to run government operations.
