Garissa township Mp has rubbished plans by NASA's elected MPs to boycott the swearing in of MPs on 31st August.
According to the vocal Mp, NASA’s boycott plans is dishonest and devoid.
Duale claimed that opposition politicians does not respect the rule of law.
He added that constitutionally no vacuum exists in office of the president.
“Until another president is sworn in, there is no vacuum. NASA is a coalition that does not respect the law and therefore their boycott is akin to telling a bride not to attend her wedding,” said Duale.
This is after president Uhuru Kenyatta called the first sitting of the 12th Parliament through a gazette notice.
Uhuru said in a gazette notice that the first sitting will take place on August 31 just a day before the Supreme Court rules a presidential petition that was filed by NASA leader Raila Odinga to oppose Uhuru's re-election.
MPs allied to NASA have vowed not to turn up for the first sitting of Parliament until the Supreme Court rules on their petition.
