Malala said that both the National Assembly and the Senate can not be used to bring such changes due to the dominance of the rulling party legislators in both Houses.

Speaking during an interview on Wednesday night at a local radio station, the lawmaker said that the coalition will hold a convention of all the People's Assemblies in order to rubber stamp the decision.

He blamed the government for manipulating the Houses so as to drive Executive ideas even when they are not for well being of the country.

"We can not use the law making organs since they are now controlled by the State. We will use Article 1 of the Constitution which bestows all power to the people,"he said.

The Senator further urged Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka to consider being sworn in before so that he engages in active activities of the coalition.

"We first want him to be sworn in so that NASA supporters can have faith in him as a true leader. He has to do what Raila Odinga did on January 30 so as to reclaim his authority in us,"said Malala.
