Former Kibwezi MP Kalembe Ndile has dismissed NASA's proposed People's Assembly to fight for electoral justice saying it is a waste of time.
Ndile claims that the opposition's proposed Assembly lacks constitutional backing and will fail terribly.
Speaking to journalists in Machakos Town on Thursday, Ndile who unsuccesffully contested for the Mavoko Parliamentary seat in the August 8 general election asked NASA to accept that they lost the presidential election twice and move on.
He claimed that the Raila Odinga led opposition is using unconsitutional tactics to remain politically relevant.
"NASA leaders should know that their goose was cooked and it is better for them to accept reality and stop wasting time on things they themselves know are impossibe," he told journalists on Thursday.
Ndile said that NASA shot itself in the leg when its presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga withdrew from the October 26 repeat presidential election.
The former Kibwezi lawmaker asked NASA to prepare for 2022 and stop causing unneccessary political anxiety in the country.
Ndile at the same time pleaded with Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka to abandon the opposition.
He claimed that Kalonzo has suffered in opposition and its time he quit.
On Tuesday, NASA revealed plan to form a People's Assembly to push for electoral reforms and justice.
The opposition proposal has however been rubbished by Jubilee politicians who claim it is a sign of Raila conceding defeat.
The opposition has also formed a National Resistance Movement (NRM) to push for electoral justice.
