National Super Alliance (NASA) has made plans to campaign in the North Rift region of the country ahead of the August 8 elections.

The Raila-led coalition is expected to camp in Jubilee strongholds Marakwet, Nandi, and Uasin Gishu counties.

Nasa is aiming to get 50% of votes after receiving a major boost. 

The boost saw a recent shift of incumbent and former MPs who have given their support to Nasa ahead of the elections.

Pius Kidombo, who is the regional coordinator for Nasa believes the region is no longer a stronghold for Jubilee and is confident of Nasa's chances after gaining many followers.
