\NASA principals are expected to meet for discussion on their fate, with co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka expected to return to the country on Tuesday.

The meeting, which will be attended by all principals and led by leader Raila Odinga is set for Wednesday.

Nasa supporters feel dejected and openly aired their frustrations, after the coalition’s last minute cancellation of swearing in Raila Odinga last week.

Kalonzo was expected to jet into the country on Saturday, but his failure means the meeting had to be pushed.

Initially, the coalition had scheduled to hold the meeting on Sunday in Mombasa.

The deputy coalition leader has been away for a while now tending to his ailing wife, Pauline, who has been admitted in Germany.

Wiper’s Executive Director Dr Jared Maaka Siso, who spoke to the Nation, said they had to change the plans, and the meeting will now be held next week.

“The party leader has deferred coming home to Tuesday. He was supposed to return today but doctors decided to transfer his wife to another hospital.”

According to Amani Coalition leader Musalia Mudavadi, they will have to find a new venue since some of the leaders who are to attend the meeting were still held at the govenors’ forum in Mombasa, which just ended.

“We are awaiting word from the organizers. We realise that the Council of Governors meeting may have affected our schedule; we will have a clear picture later in the day,” said the Amani National Congress (ANC) leader.
