[Photo|ODM]The National Super Alliance (Nasa) has called on Kenyans to ignore President Uhuru Kenyatta's swearing in ceremony slated for Tuesday.Uhuru will be sworn in to kick start his second term after the controversial fresh presidential election on October 26.NASA boycotted the election which recorded a poor turnout.Leaders of the NASA coalition on Saturday held a people's mini-assembly committee at Maanzoni Lodge in Machakos, to deliberate on their next step.Principals Raila Odinga and Musalia Mudavadi chaired the meeting which was also attended by Nasa parliamentarians, governors, the secretariat and technical committee.During the meeting they slammed Uhuru's government for allegedly killings their supporters, and urged Kenyans to resist the ceremony which they termed 'coronation'.Instead of joining Jubilee for the inauguration, NASA asked Kenyans to join them in memorial service of the killed 26 supporters during NASA leader Raila Odinga's welcoming from the US."...to urge Kenyans to ignore the despotic coronation of Uhuru Kenyatta on Tuesday 28 November 2017 and instead join us in person at Jacaranda Grounds Nairobi, or in spirit, to mourn the lives of our dearly departed men, women and children who have paid the highest price for exercising their basic constitutionally guaranteed right of political dissent through peaceful protest," said a statement read by Mudavadi.
