On Tuesday evening, one of the senior National Bank of Kenya managers was arrested over the loss of Sh2.3 Billion.

According to reports Dennis Oduor will be arraigned in court Wednesday.

This follows a similar situation which saw two other managers of the same bank arrested over the loss of Sh106 Million earlier this year.

The accused Chris Kisire and Wycliffe Kivunira were chared with abuse of office and breach of trust.

Chase bank was also a victim of this after it was revealed four senior managers defrauded the bank of Sh1.6 Billion.

However, the accused Abdul Ahmed, Ghanrish Omar, Amiran Claudia and Mohammed Khan claimed the charges given to them were faulty.

The financial set back forced Chase bank to be put under receivership for an entire year.
