Nationwide side Mwatate United shocked Sportpesa Premier League side Bandari 2-0 in a preseason friendly match played at Danson Mwanyumba Stadium in Wundanyi on Tuesday.
Goals from Babu Kulinda and Thomas Nyokole saw the minnows stun Bandari despite head coach Paul Nkata fielding his best squad including former AFC Leopards and Harambee Stars goalie Lukas Indeche.
The defeat is Bandari’s second during this build matches having lost 2-1 to second division side Modern Coast Rangers a fortnight ago, though it came on the back of a 1-0 victory they registered over Mswambweni Combined last weekend.
