Passing gas is embarrassing, especially when you do it in public. However, keeping it in can cause a lot of discomfort to a person’s body. Passing gas is a normal occurrence which is highly influenced by the foods you consume. The good news is, you have home remedies for passing gas:

Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar contains several enzymes which alkalizes your body. This is a good treatment when you have indigestion. You feel relieved after taking a glass of warm raw apple cider vinegar mixture. This is also safe for pregnant women and young children.

Fresh ginger

Ginger contains a natural carminative agent that relieves flatulence. A mixture of one teaspoon of ginger and a spoon of lemon juice will help alleviate gas by accelerating the emptying of the gastric tract and digestion.

Lime juice and baking soda

This is a great remedy for many ailments. Take a mixture of a warm tablespoon of lime juice with half a teaspoon of baking soda. This should be taken after meals. The mixture helps in the formation of carbon dioxide which has proven to be very helpful in digestion.

Cumin

Cumin is said to contain essential oils which stimulate the salivary glands aiding in better digestion of food. This, in turn, will help prevent the formation of excess gas. Boil two cups of water with a tablespoon of cumin seeds, wait to cool and drink this after meals.
