The National Cohesion and Integration Commission has identified possible post-election violence hotspots during the 2017 general election.
NCIC commissioners have identified 33 counties where violence might erupt after the coming polls.
This is due to the renewed political activity across the country ahead of the next polls.
The commission says it is closely monitoring the potential regions and try to lay down strategies on how to prevent possible chaos this includes massive public education on peace during the general election.
The revelations were made in Malindi during an NCIC retreat.
