According to Tabaka ward MCA Daniel Apepo, the country is on steadily depolarising and there is the need for it to be handled with care and those fueling hate speech on various platforms arrested and charged immediately.
“It has been a while since we last saw the NCIC press charges on any of the hate speech mongers, it’s high time Kaparo's team to wake up and report on duty as soon as possible before the situation gets worse,” said Apepo.
Reacting to Babu’s recent remarks on Monday evening at the county offices in Kisii, he said they were looking forward to staging a demonstration in Kisii town if he can’t be charged immediately.
The MCA called upon social media users to ensure that they love one another as the country heads into a hotly contested re-run.
