[Photo: Elvanis Ronoh]Uasin Gishu county commissioner Abdi Hassan has put on notice National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) officials selling subsidized fertilizers.He said those who will be found will face the full force of the law."I have received information from the public that there are some NCPB officials colluding with County government officials stealing subsidized fertilizers thereafter repackaging and sell it at high prices than the recommended one," he said in Eldoret town, Wednesday."It's against the law to resale the subsidized fertilizers since its only NCPB which is allowed to sell it to farmers and anyone who will be found will be sacked with immediate effect since we will not tolerate corrupt officials," he added.He called upon farmers in the region to act as their watchdog by reporting any person selling government’s subsidized fertilizers and promised to take stern actions against them.
