Speaking in Nakuru on Thursday after retrieving 3,505 bags of DAP fertilizer worth Ksh 4.5 million at a rented Kenya Railways go down which were suspected to have been stolen from the NCPD stores, King’ang’i strongly condemned the incident while calling upon for further investigation to catch up with the suspects.

‘We are strongly condemning these incidences and we will institute stern disciplinary actions against employees of the board determined to be culpable of the criminal activity. The investigation should be fastened and the suspects brought to book to serve as a lesson to others.’ King’ang’i stated.

According to the NCPD Chair, several incidences have been reported where the firm’s employees and contractors conspire to divert fertilizer worth hundreds of millions to wrong destinations in the north rift.

"In order to stop these incidences, we are calling upon the members of the public and police to help us in nabbing these criminals before they succeed in their mission," King’ang’i added.

He, however, termed the incidences a series of conspiracy against the Board by other unknown forces.
