Former Kathiani Mp Wavinya Ndeti has mourned untimely death of mama Lucy Kibaki which occurred very early in the morning of April 26. Mama Lucy Kibaki died in a hospital in London as she was undergoing treatment.
"It is with deep sense of sorrow that I have learnt the untimely death of former first lady, Mrs Lucy Kibaki. She will be remembered for her immense contribution in the development of our country especially her commitment to improving the well-being of the ordinary Kenyan and her keenness on handling HIV/AIDS," her facebook page read.
"Lucy Kibaki will always remain an inspiration to many women leaders in our society and mentor to young girls. May Almighty God rest her soul in eternal peace," the post continued.
Mama Lucy Kibaki died at the age of 76-years leaving behind her husband former President Mwai Kibaki and four children.
