According to Ndii, he has no regrets of suspending the People's Assembly as the country is in the process of renegotiating nationhood but without some groups of the people in the process.

The strategist further pointed out that those who were opposed to the People's assembly have never attended any of the meetings, do not know what the meetings are all about nor have they read any resolutions of those meetings.

"We were having a process of renegotiating our nationhood but without some of us in the room. So our question was, once we have these conversations and they exclude Kikuyus and Kalenjins, at what point are we going to bring them in and agree if we are staying together or separating," reiterated Ndii.

Ndii also insisted on the importance of the talks between President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga concerning the unity of the country.

In his view, there are people who are ready to die because of Uhuru or Raila and thus the talks important to stop Kenyans from dying because of politics.

"There are people ready to die for Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga in this country. I think it is time for Kenyans to stop dying for politics," added Ndii.

Ndii made his remarks during an interview with Citizen TV on Tuesday.
