Former Kibwezi legislature Kalembe Ndile has revealed President Uhuru Kenyatta’s role in his decision to dissolve Tip Tip party. Speaking in Athi River at Jam City slum, Kalembe Ndile said that Uhuru’s government recognizes the poor thus forcing him (Ndile) to join Jubilee Party.
“I support Uhuru’s re-election because his government protects lives and property without discrimination. There is no single day houses and other structures belonging to the poor have been pulled down by the state under his guard, as opposed to the previous regimes,” Kalembe said as reported by the Star.
The Mavoko Jubilee party parliamentary aspirant criticized the coalition government that was led by Retired President Mwai Kibaki and NASA flag bearer Raila Odinga. Wiper party boss Kalonzo Musyoka was part of this government as the Vice President.
Ndile said that Kibaki’s administration demolished houses in Maasai Village, Kyiangombe, Mukuru Kwa Njenga and Syokimau.
He lauded President Uhuru for championing the rights of Waitiki squatters in Lamu. The president issued them with the controversial title deeds.
