Addressing media at the event organized at the Westside Mall Nakuru, Linet Chizima from Nakuru Business Association, one of the organizers of the event, called on corporates to help the less fortunate.

“We are happy to be part of this event to put a smile on the face of the needy. I call on the corporates in the society to come out in order to help the needy not only on Valentines but always,” she said.

Lindah Nyawira from Concierge Mediacom marketing agency and the coordinator of the event said love is about putting a smile on someone.

“We organized the event here at Westside Mall Nakuru basically to tell the society that Valentine is not all about flowers but just putting a smile on the face of the needy,” she said.

Similar sentiments were echoed by Njoroge Nganga, the founder of Jali Jirani Initiative.

“Jali Jirani is all about caring for the person next to you through love and sharing God’s blessings,” he said.
