Nairobi governor hopeful Miguna Miguna has laughed off Deputy President William Ruto and NASA presidential running mate Kalonzo Musyoka's presidential candidature for the 2022 general elections.
Speaking in an interview on the Presidential Running Mates Debate joint table which was aired by most of the media houses Monday,after the two failed to show up for the event,Miguna termed them as too careless,ignorant and reckless to be entrusted with such a powerful office maintaining that he will take it upon himself to ensure that they are not candidates for the position in the first place.
''The two have showed us that they are not interested in the people.Kenyans are watching and I can assure you that neither of them will be President in the next general polls.We will ensure that they are not even candidates,'' he said.
The event had however proceeded despite the two having confirmed that they would not be part of the event with the DP's quarter being the first to refute possibilities of Ruto attending the event.The NASA side also excused Kalonzo saying that he had no business attending the event in the absence of Ruto.
The two have announced their bids with a tough battle pitting them already being anticipated by most Kenyans.
