Lawyer and socio-political commentator, Nelson Havi, has broken his silence after it emerged that he had been barred from seeking the Law Society of Kenya's presidency. Mr. Havi has pointed the finger at one Ms. Mercy Wambua as being responsible for his barring. He said that LSK was buckling under pressure from external influences because he had called the incumbent Mr. Isaac Okero to inquire about a memo circulating on social media regarding his barring.''I called yesterday in the morning around 8:30 Mr. Isaac Okero to ask him about a memo circulating that said that Mr. Havi does not qualify, and he told me he was not aware of it. He told me that the council had not made a decision,'' Havi said.Havi exhorted the LSK to go back to the values that have made it great like speaking up against transgressions, and not allowing outside forces to dictate its agenda.
