Nairobi senator shared a touching message on social media, defending soldiers, saying nobody should ever cheat, with a soldier's wife.
According to him, they sacrifice and put their lives at risk, for their families and the country.
Below is Sonko's message:
''Dear Brethren
If you have to cheat please dont cheat with a Military man's wife. That fellow built a beautiful house for his family while he rests in a tent or trench..
He makes sure the family eats well fresh food while he eats canned food himself.
He bought all sorts of electronics to entertain the family while he has a kabambe/x-tigi phone because wherever he is smart phones dont work.. He clothes his family nicely while he himself wears the leopard skin day and night.
As the family watches TV back at home, he watches the bush for any enemy approaching.
As the family scents perfumes and other nice fragrances provided by him, he smells gun powder and bush plants..
These guys are tasting death daily as their loved ones enjoy life... Please be fair and just. Before you cheat with that military man's wife,think of her husband in the wilderness,
Before you date her, know that her husband is dating death daily...''
