The Jubilee party will use a different format of ballot papers in the Tuesday's Uasin Gishu county nominations.
According to the county's party Elections board chairman Sammy Ruto, the decision was reached in a bid to ensure a free and fair exercise.
This puts to a rest concerns that the unused ballot papers from the botched Friday nominations could be used to rig in favour of certain preferred candidates.
"The ballot papers we will be using in the rescheduled nomination has a different format, color and serial numbers compared to the ones that had been provided on Friday," said Ruto in Eldoret, Monday.
He said preparations for the exercise were on top gear and assured that they will conduct a credible process.
"In the ground we already have nonstrategic materials ranging from ink, ballot boxes and seals which were to be used on Friday. We will be ready for the exercise to begin at the scheduled time," noted Ruto.
"Everybody whose name appears in the IEBC register will be allowed to take part in the exercise and I want to urge our members to come out in large numbers and exercise their democratic right," he added.
