Bonchari member of parliament John Oroo now claims NASA leader Raila Odinga recently purchased the majority shares of Airtel Kenya before urging his supporters to boycott Safaricom.
Speaking on Wednesday evening while meeting Bonchari Constituency CDF officials at Waterpark in Kisii the MP claimed that Raila's move is geared towards fulfilling his personal desire of ensuring Airtel beats Safaricom.
"We're aware that NASA leader Raila Odinga is currently a majority shareholder of Airtel Kenya and he is on a mission to uplift the profitability, there is a need for Kenyans to differentiate between politics and business," said Oroo.
Oroo said each Kenyan has the liberty to choose which service provider to use.
