New Zealander Ian Snook has been appointed the new coach for the Kenya fifteens national team, the Simbas.
The move was reached upon by the Kenya Rugby Union, who announced the deal on Tuesday.
Ian is considered the perfect fit for the Kenyan team, owing to his vast experience in the world of rugby.
The New Zealand national has served in various high profile coaching and consulting capacities in New Zealand, Australia, England, Ireland, Laos, Japan, Croatia, Italy and South Africa.
The union also appointed Murray Roulston as Ian’s assistant, who has also had vast coaching experience with teams including Highlanders, New Zealand, Japan, Trinidad & Tobago and Romania.
The pair arrives in time for the Rugby Africa Gold Cup, which also doubles up as the 2019 Rugby World Cup Qualifiers.
