Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Kavuludi said strict measures are being enforced to curb cases of irregularities and corruption.

He indicated that officers who oversaw the pervious recruitment will not be involved in the coming exercise.

Kavuludi indicated that the recruitment will not be a one-day exercise and it will be strictly monitored by senior officials.

The chairman said the NPSC will not tolerate any kind of irregularities, which he said continue to tarnish the image of the police force.

Nakuru’s Bahati and Njoro areas were among the centres whose results were nullified over alleged corruption and irregularities.

The nullification of results at the two centres saw affected youths and their parents stage demonstrations demanding answers over the cancellation from NPSC.

A taskforce comprising several state agencies set up by NPSC recommended the nullification of the results.
