[Photo| Raila Odinga]The National Super Alliance (Nasa) principal Raila Odinga's advisor, Salim Lone, has said that the former prime minister will not address the US Congress as had been reported earlier by a section of Kenyan media.Speaking to Citizen Digital, Lone noted that Raila will only have important meetings in the US Congress to set the records straight about the current political crisis in Kenya.“Mr. Odinga will have important meetings in the US Congress but he will not address it," Lone said.Odinga's advisor further noted that “Addressing Congress is a privilege reserved for countries’ foreign leaders on state visits to the US.The congress consists of two chambers that form the US legislature, the Senate and the House of Representatives.Raila is expected to leave for Washington DC this week.
