According to the family of Lilan, his personal office was broken into, raising more questions than answers over what might have happened to their loved one.

Before his disappearance, Lilan had gone to court to question the nature of the death of the late Mark Too, who was laid to rest last week.

According to John Talaam, Lilan’s brother, he has been making rounds to his residence as well as his personal office to try and see if he can find anything when he ealized something was amiss.

“I found the door (to his personal office) was partially open, the laptop is not there the printer is not there,” said Talaam.

A team of security personnel from the area, NSIS, CID and the Kenya police visited the office upon Talaam’s call, and went straight into investigations.

“We visited the scene but we did not see any sign of breakage, instead the door was open, and we are investigating to establish the truth,” said Anderson Furaha, OCPD Eldoret East.

Lilan’s father is also requesting for a speedy investigation into the disappearance of his son, and hopes this will be done soon to relieve the agony.

“Naomba serikali ya Uhuru anisaidie mtoto wangu apatikane, (I’m requesting Uhuru’s government to help me find my sone,” he said.

The lawyer was last seen on January 9, 2017, and had indicated that he had received some threats following his push to have the burial of Too delayed, and for a fresh inquiry to be carried out on his death.
