During the pre-technological era, most toilets used various mechanisms, as, flushing or turning on the sink to mask sounds made while relieving oneself.
Various inventions and devices have been made to help mask this noises and try to make the self relieving process at the toilet as silent as possible and comfortable, thanks to technology.
However, non of them can beat the latest "sound decorator " invention. This technological advancement is almost perfect if not the best.
The device has been invented by Japan's home ware brand, Lixil in partnership with Roland and electronics company.
The sound decorator is so genius that it is able to completely kill off the embarrassing bathroom noises by producing a sound with stronger wavelength that correlate with the urinating sound thus cancelling out the unwanted noise through an auditory masking effect.
Auditory masking effect is an ability to weaken the weaker wavelength sounds such as urinating sound by producing large wavelength sound.
The fancy and more interesting part that makes this device unique is that once activated, it produces a sound of a natural scenic forest with swaying trees, babbling Brook and sweet chirping of birds thus giving you a more comfortable and relaxed natural environment.
You will hence feel like like you are out there in the woods.
“We brought the equipment up to the mountains and recorded many samples such as ‘Ogawa no Susoragi’ and wild bird’s chirping. You can taste relaxation with the sound that makes the image of the forest .” said Lixil in a press release on Thursday.
