Nyamira Director of Medical Services Jack Magara has promised that 84 newly opened dispensaries in the county will be supplied with drugs.
In a phone interview on Wednesday with this writer, Magara said that the drugs are meant to cater for any shortages.
"The county government has made strides to improve the health care of our people that is why we will be supplying all the new built dispensaries with drugs," said Magara.
Magara further revealed that the county government through an initiative of Governor John Nyagarama will see construction of staff quarters in all dispensaries for nurses in order to facilitate 24-hour operations.
"We are going to build staff quarters for all nurses because we want our health facilities to operate 24 hours a day," said Magara.
