A new challenge has shown up in the Jubilee homestead as New Ford kenya has threatened to quit the merger, barely a month after joining.
New Ford Kenya Bungoma Chairman Martin Nyongesa spoke on Thursday saying that before joining the political outfit, their condition was that they be given a top party position.
He said that allocating the top party slots to the president and his deputy's parties will not go down well with New Ford Kenya, citing malice in the allocations.
APK, Tip Tip, GNU and Ford people are some of the parties that have agreed to dissolve and join the Jubilee party and it remains to be seen what their terms of agreement were.
Reports indicate that URP and TNA parties are getting top party positions making the other parties feel left out.
