President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday met a section of the members from New Ford Kenya party at State House.

The party early in the week dissolved to join the Jubilee Party.

Jubilee party is the vehicle through which Mr Kenyatta intends to use for defending his seat in 2017.

Among those who met the president include Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka, Water Cabinet Secretary General Eugene Wamalwa, former Bumula MP Bifwoli Wakoli, Sirisia MP John Waluke, former Webuye MP Musikari Kombo among others.

All Jubilee Alliance party are expected to dissolve and pave way for the formation of the Jubilee party.

There are however, politicians currently affilliatted to the Jubilee administration who have resisted the move.

They include Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto and Meru Governor Peter Munya.
