Newly appointed Gor Mahia head coach Dylan Kerr jetted into the country on Sunday 8 July morning ready to take charge of the team. 

Kerr was appointed last week, taking over from Jose Fereira who left the club for Albanian side FK Tirana two weeks ago. 

The Englishman will be in attendance when Gor Mahia plays Bandari in a shield tournament on Sunday 8 July in Thika to have sneak preview of the calibre of players at his disposal. 

He will then take charge of the team next week, his main task will be to ensure Gor Mahia reclaims the league title it lost to Tusker FC in 2016.
