The race for the Narok gubernatorial race is threatening to break the unity of the National Super Alliance pentagon members. The contest between ODM’s Joseph Ole Tiampati and Patrick Ole Ntutu of Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) has put NASA presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga at loggerheads with CCM leader Isaac Ruto. During a recent NASA rally in Narok, Isaac Auto openly campaigned for his party gubernatorial candidate, Patrick Ole Ntutu, making ODM leaders in the county angry. The ODM Narok leaders have now demanded that Raila openly campaigns for the party’s flag bearer in the county — Ole Tiampati. “We want Raila to campaign for Tiampati openly. We will not allow CCM to be all over Narok stadiums when as ODM we are doing nothing for our gubernatorial candidate,” said Narok North MP Moitalel Ole Kenta, who is leading the group. The Narok ODM leaders questioned Raila for his neutrality in the gubernatorial race. “If Raila is not campaigning for ODM candidate then Isaac Ruto should also desist from campaigning for Patrick Ntutu so that we, ODM, can have a level playing ground,” added Mr Moitalel, as quoted by Citizen Digital.
