Amani National Congress (ANC) and Ford Kenya parties merger is about to be unveiled.
According to party secretary generals, Barrack Muluka and Boni Khalwale have stated that their merger will be unveiled soon.
According to the duo, plans to merge the parties have been finalised by experts who were selectively and keenly picked.
Muluka has said that the two leaders, Mudavadi and the Bungoma Senator are committed to the unity of the Luhya community.
"The two leaders are keen on forming a single political party with a national outlook to help galvanise the Western region and appeal to all Kenyans. It is an idea that has been carefully thought out and both Mudavadi and Wetang’ula are taking it very seriously,” Muluka is quoted by the standard.
He further expressed that he is optimistic that the resolve to bring the parties together will soon be achieved.
The parties are part of the National Super Alliance whose unity is shaken following the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga.
