Atheists In Kenya (AIK) have called for the legalisation of same sex marriages.

They want the debate to be part of the proposed amendments to the constitution being pushed by President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga.

AIK stated that they will back constitutionalchanges to see to changes of article 45 (2) of theconstitution changed for marriage to be betweenany two consenting adults irrespective of sexual orientation.
